I absolutely love creating beautiful smiles for my patients. My favorite part is seeing the confidence my patients gain as their smiles transform. I wanted to become an orthodontist since the age of ten after my own positive experience with my childhood orthodontist. Orthodontics integrates my love of art and science. I am so excited to be able to use my knowledge of science and biomechanics and my finesse and attention to detail in the creation of my own art — a beautiful smile!
When I’m not at work, I love spending time outdoors. My favorite time of year is summer, when I spend my time at the beach, swimming, and boating. I have a love and affinity for travel and experiencing other cultures. I also enjoy exercising, cooking, and a great cup of coffee.
Education and Experience
I was born and raised in New Jersey. I began my journey to become an orthodontist at Northeastern University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree. After college, I returned home to New Jersey where I was accepted to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine, graduating first in my class. While attending Rutgers, I was elected treasurer of my class and started a local chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists. I was also awarded the Bergen Medal in 2015 by Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor of Interprofessional Education Dr. Dense Rodgers, for outstanding academic and professional achievement.
Immediately following dental school, I continued my dental training in a three-year residency at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine Department of Orthodontics, where I earned my specialty degree in the field of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and my Master’s in Dental Science degree.
